Riding the Batobus in Paris

On a recent week in Paris I had not one but two days where we took the Batobus to make our way up and down the Seine, enjoying the sights and scenes of this magnificent city.

It was great.  The Batobus is my favorite way to get around Paris.  IF you don’t know what a Batobus is or you’d like to read a previous post called “Mooning the Batobus” click here. If not, continue down the river with me and see what I saw.

First, I love seeing  the way the Parsians hide their construction messes…  Louvre, Musee de Orsay, Ile de la Cite.  Wonder what Steven Jobs paid for this huge and colorful IPad presentation?

It is also fun to see the people hanging out along the  river.

Parties.  Sunbathing. Guitar playing and dancing. Lots of smooching.

This is about as close as I want to get to the Eiffel Tower in the day time.  Too many tourists….. the night time is different.  I love the iconic structure at night.

The batobus along the Seine sounds and looks delightful.  We experienced this many, many years ago, but would love to take a meander down the Seine again:)
