Last September I enjoyed a week at a Photography Retreat in what I’d call “The Other Burgundy.” Most of the time, when we think of Burgundy, France, we visualize acres of vineyards, beautiful rows of grapevines in a patchwork of shades of greens.
I enjoyed a week in the non-wine growing part of Burgundy. It was lovely. Rural. Pastoral. Quiet. Really charming. Quiet roads and sleepy villages. It was a great spot to take pictures, to relax and to retreat from the busy-ness of life.
I’m hoping that through these images you’ll get the sense of peaceful, remote and gentleness of this charming part of France.

The Retreat was organized by Wild Photography Holidays. Our gracious hosts were Niall and Charlotte Benvie.
