Happy Holidays from the DesignDestination.org bloggers
We wish you a happy season and hope you keep coming back to DesignDestinations.org to share our travels with us.
“Tis the Season to Decorate
I never get tired of holiday decor. How about you? If like me, you love the beauty, the silliness, the effort people put into expressing themselves during this time of year, scroll down for a few images I’ve captured.
The first three images are from Chelsea Market in NYC.
Oversized holiday dinosaur greets you at the Natural History Museum in NYC.
Elegant display in a fancy jewelry store in Hudson Yards in NYC.
This isn’t holiday decor but it caught my eye on the High Line, New York’s very busy elevated park in the Meatpacking district. It’s how I feel this time of year.
Oodles of Santas in a cute store on lower East side of New York City.
Spotted these folks near Times Square. Wondering what this is all about? They were moving too fast for me to ask.
I always go to Saks in NYC to see the holiday decor. This year I was totally surprised with new escalators on main floor. The colors and reflections had me mesmerized.
Scenes from the Broadway Bar in Grand Rapids–the ultimate in goofy holiday decor. Silly attire is almost required. This neighborhood bar is so popular that they start taking reservations for the holidays right after St. Patrick’s Day. Gotta plan ahead to go here.
The following are holiday images and tasty looking nibbles that simply caught my eye. Enjoy.
