The sun continues to rise and set as the earth spins in her orbit around it
and yet, we pause, if we can.
And, if we can, pause that is, we may capture a moment, at least for a moment, and be eternally grateful for it.
These moments in time give us pause in new, sometimes unexpected ways. The norms of our fast paced, busy, often whirlwind ways of being have been confronted by the natural world and ‘Mother Nature’ or ‘Mother earth’ may be spinning a cautionary tale.
In this recent and now lengthy time of caution and its attendant isolation (what I have recently heard described as an existential threat or ultimate concern), it has been helpful to capture, as elusive as they can sometimes feel, those special moments of connection:
-
connection with loved ones: would that all felt loved,
-
connections with the natural world; would that it might feel, for all, as profound as it truly seems to be,
-
connections with each other; would that we could all hold this desire close and listen to the “Music of the Spheres” as we spin and swirl.
Peggy and her camera toting husband, Jerry, enjoy travel near and far.
They team up to capture the wondrous moments; lately, closer to home.
